Isaac Marx has stories to tell that few in Castlewood could ever believe. Many consider him to be somewhat plain, unremarkable, and those who do are simply baffled by how this average-looking nobody seems to have had sex with every girl in his class at least once. His male peers eye him with suspicious awe that often borders on contempt.

When the story opens, Isaac has just finished an adventure of his own, and is doing what he does best: blending into the background.
